First of Type Testing for Flitzer Z2

• After the First Flight pilot experienced minor issues High Flight Consulting was contracted to complete the Flight Test Campaign.

• Some further discoveries in flight test led to design changes to the oil cooling system, rudder pedals then followed by airframe rigging optimisation (and some real life delays!) which all meant that the Test Programme extended to 10-months before the owner “soloed” in Jul 2024.

• All flight test reports and submissions generated in a cost-effective manner for the customer and Authority with a Permit to Fly awarded.

• A beautifully built example of a type designed by Lynn Williams to represent an aeroplane of the “Inter War Period”.
